Email notification settings are divided into two tabs:
- Merchant notifications > On this tab you can configure what kind of email notifications about your affiliate program will be sent to you(owner).
- Affiliate notifications > On this tab you can configure what kind of of email notifications will be sent to your affiliates and also configure which of those notifications can be turned On/Off by your affiliates directly in their affiliate panels -> My profile -> Email Notifications section.
Merchant notifications
At the top of this tab you can see Merchant email field. This represents email address to which our software will be sending all merchant notifications. All emails sent by your affiliates via contact us form available directly in the affiliate panel or signup page will be also sent to this email address. Use add button to add multiple merchant email addresses.
Merchant notifications can be split into two types:
- Actions > one time notifications that are sent when specific action occurs.
- Planned notifications > recurring notifications that are sent regularly in defined periodicity. Planned notifications requires Cron job to be configured for your Post Affiliate Pro software, they wont work without it at all. Our hosted accounts have Cron job configured by default
Actions
On sale / lead > sends you a notification when a new sale/lead commission is tracked. You can choose to only enable this notification for commissions tracked with specific status(approved, declined or pending). If Disable zero commission notifications option is checked, system won't send you notifications for commissions tracked with zero value.
On extra bonus > sends you a notification when a commission of type extra bonus is created in your affiliate program. (Extra bonus commissions can be created by performance rewards feature. More info about this feature can be found here.)
On new affiliate signup > sends you a notification when a new affiliate signs up to your affiliate program.
On affiliate join to campaign > sends you a notification when affiliate joins a private campaign in your affiliate program. (More info about private campaigns can be found here.)
On new direct link > sends you a notification when affiliate creates a new direct link record in your affiliate program. (More info about DirectLinks can be found here.)
On commission approved > sends you a notification when status of a commission is automatically changed to approved by some feature/plugin or tracking script.
Planned notifications
Pay day > this notifications allows you to set an email reminder on specific day of month. For example if you are creating payouts for your affiliates monthly you can set it to notify you each month so you wont forget the pay day.
Daily report > sends you daily report about the traffic and tracked commissions by Post Affiliate Pro for that specific day.
Weekly report > basically the same as daily report but it contains data for the whole week. Additionally you can set up on which week day should the report start and also on which day the report for previous week is sent to you.
Monthly report > same type of report as above. It contains data for the whole month.
Max. transactions count > it's not an actual report. It's an option that allows you to specify maximum number of transactions that will be included in your email reports. This can prevent from sending huge emails with
thousands of transactions in it. ( Negative number in this field will turn of this limitation completely)
Affiliate notifications
Affiliate notifications can be split into two types same as merchant notifications:
- Actions > one time notifications that are sent when specific action occurs.

Some affiliate notifications has two columns of check boxes:
- Changeable by affiliate > checking this box next to some affiliate notification type will allow affiliate to enable/disable this type of notifications directly in his affiliate panel. Keep this box checked if you want your affiliates to choose which notifications they want to receive and which they don't.
- Default value for affiliate > This check box defines if the notification type is enabled or disabled for the affiliate by default.
Actions
Campaign invitation > sends a notification to the affiliate when he/she is invited to a private campaign. (More info about private campaigns can be found here.)
On approve/decline affiliate for campaign > sends a notification to the affiliate when his request to join private campaign is approved or declined.
On commission group changed > sends a notification to the affiliate when his commission group in a campaign is changed. (More info about campaign commission groups feature can be found here.)
Before approval email > sends a notification to the affiliate when he signs up to your affiliate program. Even before his affiliate account is approved by the merchant/owner. Usually this notification is used to notify the person that just signed up that you received his signup request and you will notify him again when his new affiliate account is approved. If your affiliate approval is set to automatic(configuration>affiliate signup>affiliate approval field), this notification is not used at all.
On campaign status changed > sends a notification to the affiliate when status of a campaign that he is allowed to promote changes.
Approval notifications for affiliate > sends a notification to the affiliate when his affiliate account registration is approved. This email notification also contains a link to set the first password of his/hers affiliate account so make sure that this notification is enabled if you are not setting passwords for your affiliates yourself.
On sale / lead > sends a notification to the affiliate when a new sale/lead commission is tracked. You can choose to only enable this notification for commissions tracked with specific status(approved, declined or pending).
Disable zero commission notifications On sale / lead > this option defines if notifications for commissions with zero value should be sent as well or not.
On extra bonus > sends a notification to the affiliate when a commission of type extra bonus is created for him. (Extra bonus commissions can be created by performance rewards feature. More info about this feature can be found here.)
On sale / lead change status > sends a notification to the affiliate when status of one of his earned commissions is changed.
On subaffiliate signup > sends a notification to the affiliate when there is a new affiliate account signed up as his sub-affiliate(child affiliate) in your affiliate program.
On subaffiliate sale > sends a notification to the affiliate when there is a new sale/lead tracked for one of his sub-affiliates(Only sub-affiliate sales that generated actual multi tier commission for the parent affiliate as well will fire this notification).
On direct link approved > sends a notification to the affiliate when his direct link is approved. (More info about DirectLinks can be found here.)
Planned notifications
