How To Troubleshoot Tracking

Articles in this section explain how to debug tracking problems with your Post Affiliate Pro installation and help you identify potential issues. In the articles describing how to debug code, we will use the Firefox browser with the Firebug extension installed; however, the process is similar with any browser that offers developer tools.

There are three types of tracking in Post Affiliate Pro:

  1. Impression tracking – when a banner is displayed. Here is how to debug it.
  2. Click tracking – when a customer clicks an affiliate's link or banner. If you have problems getting clicks tracked, then this is your guide.
  3. Sale / lead / action tracking – when a customer places an order or completes an action on your website. In case of issues, first consult the Sale requests log.
