CPM commissions (per impressions)

CPM (cost per mille) commissions are a special type of commissions that are rewarded for 1000 impressions (displaying your banners 1000 times).

If you would like to set CPM commissions for CLICKS, you need to use a different feature.

Activating the feature

First, you need to activate the feature from your merchant panel under Configuration > Features. Find the "CPM commissionsfeature in the list and click the "Activate" button next to it to activate the feature.

Configuring the feature
Once the feature is activated you can configure it. There is a 'Configure' button displayed.

On the configuration popup, you can set:
Count impressions type - with this setting you can specify if ALL impressions on banners should be counted, or only unique impressions.
Count impressions per - specify how impressions should be counted. Either they will be counted for each banner or campaign. Please note, that if you switch impression computing type, all actual CPM impressions counts will be reset to zero.

Setting up CPM commissions

Once the feature is activated you can set a new "CPM" commission type under your campaigns. Navigate to the Campaigns > Campaign manager > edit any campaign. Then on the "Commissions settings" tab, you'll find the 'CPM' commission type.

The commissions for CPM can be defined in the same way as commissions for clicks or sales. Simply click on the "Edit" button of the 'CPM' commission type. The commission has to be set up as a fixed value in your system default currency so for example as $1. Once you've set the commission up do not forget to click the "Enable" button to enable the commissions.

Note: The commission can't be defined as a percentage since there is no value to calculate the percentage from.
