After you finished Installation Wizard, you should do a few things, before you will go online with your affiliate program. In this video tutorial, I’ll show you what you should review right after installation of your Post Affiliate Pro.
After you successfully login, the system loads the Getting Started section. This section gives you ten steps of advice on how to setup your affiliate program, so if you’ve never setup an affiliate program before, follow each step to get suggestions. You can simply click off each step as you go and when you finish, you can uncheck this box so next time you login, it doesn’t show up.
If you navigate to home screen you’ll see tasks waiting for your approval and the overview of the affiliate program traffic such as clicks, impressions, commissions etc.
The next step is to navigate to Configuration area and go through each of these settings. Configure the General, Email, Tracking, and Payout settings of your system. Here you can also setup the design and sign up page for your affiliates. We’ll explain each of these in detail in other tutorials.
If you’re done with all the settings you can create a campaign, upload some banners and possibly add affiliates such as yourself and some test affiliates.
