Setting Commission for Specific Products
This article explains how to set a specific commission rate that applies only when a particular product is purchased. This feature is useful when you want different commission rates for different products.
Overview
Post Affiliate Pro allows you to define product-specific commissions by using Product ID matching. When a sale is tracked in your account, the system automatically checks whether the product ID matches those configured in your campaign. If a match is found, the specific commission defined for that campaign is applied.
How to Set Product-Specific Commission
- Open the Campaigns Manager.
- Select the campaign you want to edit and click Edit.
- Navigate to the Edit details tab within the campaign settings.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Product ID matching section.
- In the Product IDs field, enter the product IDs for which you want to apply this specific commission rate. You can enter multiple product IDs if needed.
- Configure your desired commission settings for this campaign.
- Save your changes.
How It Works
Once you have configured product-specific commissions:
- When a new sale is tracked in your account, the system checks the product ID of that sale.
- If the product ID matches any of the IDs you entered in the Product IDs field, the commission defined in this campaign is automatically applied.
- If the product ID does not match, the sale will not be assigned to this campaign.

Product ID matching is case-sensitive, so ensure you enter the exact product IDs.
