In Post Affiliate Pro (and Post Affiliate Network), there are two methods for creating a backup. The reasons for backing up your data may vary, but the most common is to ensure data compliance. Another frequent reason is when migrating from one server to another, such as moving from your own server to our hosted accounts server.
The first method for creating a backup of your data is to use the import/export tool available directly within the application. You can export all application data—including affiliates, banners, commissions, settings, and more. For further details, see the import/export documentation.
The second method is to perform a database export. If you are using your own servers, you should contact your server administrator and request a database backup. If you are using our hosted account, please contact our support team to request a database backup.
Please note that we offer this service only on special occasions, such as account migration or data compliance requests, not on a regular basis.
Depending on the size of the resulting file, we can either provide it as a downloadable ZIP archive or, in the case of large files, request FTP access to your server to upload the file directly.
